What happens when I start with Pay As You Go?

The short answer

You pay £50 for 25 credits and you are in straight away: set up a course, accredit it with one click and issue your first certificate, often on the same day. There is nothing to sign and no demo to book.

1. What it costs

£50 for 25 credits (one credit is one certificate), unlimited courses and events, and your own Certificate of Open CPD Membership. Your own currency is shown at checkout, and prices include VAT.

Credits, top-ups and renewal in full.

2. How fast you can start

The same day. You log in with the email address you paid with and your account is ready. With a couple of courses to set up from nothing, issuing a first certificate typically takes 30 to 40 minutes.

This is what your profile could look like

Every Open CPD provider gets a public profile page. It is part of your marketing: you can share it, anyone can check it, and every certificate you issue links back to it. The one below belongs to Riverbank Training Ltd, our demo company.

3. Does Open CPD check anything?

Open CPD does not check your training, because you publish it. You set your own standards, publish them with every course, and every certificate can be checked online. You can say your training is accredited through Open CPD, or powered by Open CPD. The full answer.

5. How checkout works

You pay by card on the next page, inside the page, and the price includes VAT. Pay As You Go renews once a year on a fixed date, and unused credits reset to zero on it. You will get several reminders ahead of the renewal date, so it never comes as a surprise. You can add credits at any time without changing that date.
